Arsenal have made a first outfield addition to their title-winning squad, and it's one few saw coming: Christos Tzolis, according to Sky Sports.
The Greek winger, who left Norwich for PSV Eindhoven in a big-money move before earning a reported ยฃ22m switch to Arsenal, will apparently fill the void left by Leandro Trossard. Sky Sports describes Tzolis as a "warrior mode" player - a direct, aggressive attacker capable of operating across the front line, much like the departing Belgian.
Norwich supporters, the report notes, are likely to be the most surprised by his rapid rise, having watched him progress through a brief but eventful Carrow Road spell before his move abroad reshaped his career.
For Arsenal, the deal reportedly signals intent to add depth and unpredictability to their attack following a title-winning campaign, with Tzolis expected to provide competition and variety out wide as Mikel Arteta looks to strengthen his options for another sustained push at the top.
