Swansea City have bolstered their under-21 ranks with the signing of winger Joe Davies following his release from League One side Peterborough United, according to BBC News.
The Milton Keynes-born youngster spent time out on loan last season at Northern Premier League Division One club AFC Rushden and Diamonds, making 12 appearances as he gained experience in senior non-league football.
Having failed to break into Peterborough's first-team plans, Davies now moves to Wales in search of a fresh start, joining Swansea's development squad as he looks to continue his progression through the professional ranks.
The move gives the young winger another opportunity to impress at academy level, with the Swans hoping to develop his potential as he aims to work his way towards regular first-team football in the future.
