Crystal Palace have completed the signing of Anan Khalaili from Royale Union Saint-Gilloise, with BBC News reporting the Eagles paid a fee of around £21m for the 21-year-old.

Khalaili, capable of playing at full-back or on the wing, admitted the move to Selhurst Park has been a long time coming. "I've followed Palace for a long time," he said, adding that he "can't wait to start" his new chapter in south London.

The versatile defender/attacker becomes the latest addition to Oliver Glasner's squad as Palace continue to strengthen following their recent European qualification. Details on contract length and the structure of the fee have not been disclosed.
