Atlètic Club d'Escaldes staged a dramatic late comeback to sink Mornar 2-1 in their UEFA Europa Conference League first qualifying round tie at the Estadi Comunal.

The Croatian visitors made the perfect start when D. Zoric fired home in the 8th minute, latching onto a J. Dasic assist to give Mornar an early lead they would carry deep into the second half.

Escaldes reshuffled at the break, sending on B. Sohaib for J. L. Assoubre, before H. Bouharma replaced B. Morales's provider role and Barragan later entered as the hosts chased an equaliser. Mornar's Skrijelj and Kaludjerovic picked up bookings either side of the hour as the tie grew tense, with Mornar making a triple change on 72 and 76 minutes to freshen their legs and protect the lead.

But the introduction of B. Morales proved decisive. The substitute struck in the 83rd minute to level the score, was booked for his celebration a minute later, and then produced a stunning late twist by netting again deep into stoppage time - the 90+3 minute - to complete his brace and turn the tie on its head.

Mornar's late sub S. Denkovic couldn't inspire a response, and Escaldes held on despite a final yellow card for D. Valero, securing a stunning 2-1 victory built entirely on Morales's decisive double.
