Inter Milan are reportedly turning up the heat on Liverpool over Curtis Jones, but the Reds are refusing to budge on their asking price, according to EPL Index.
The Serie A giants are said to be keen admirers of the England international, viewing him as a potential upgrade in midfield, though Liverpool are understood to have set a £35m valuation that they’re standing firm on despite Inter’s interest.
Jones, who came through Liverpool’s academy, has become a regular fixture under Arne Slot, and the club are reportedly reluctant to let him leave on the cheap given his versatility and homegrown status.
While Inter continue to test Liverpool’s resolve, there’s no indication yet that the Merseyside club are ready to sanction a sale at a lower fee. For now, it appears to be a waiting game, with Liverpool holding all the cards unless Inter are willing to meet their valuation.
