Buducnost Podgorica secured a comfortable 2-0 friendly win over OFK Beograd, despite finishing the match with ten men.
The visitors struck first in the 37th minute, breaking the deadlock with a well-taken goal that gave them a deserved lead heading into the break. OFK Beograd struggled to respond after the interval, and Buducnost doubled their advantage in the 74th minute to put the result beyond doubt.
The match took a dramatic turn eight minutes later when Buducnost Podgorica had a player sent off in the 82nd minute, reducing them to ten men. However, with a two-goal cushion already secured and OFK Beograd unable to muster a response, the red card proved to be little more than a footnote in an otherwise routine victory for the Montenegrin side.
OFK Beograd will have plenty to work on defensively after failing to register a goal despite playing against ten men for the closing stages. For Buducnost Podgorica, the pre-season workout offered encouraging signs in front of goal, with two well-taken strikes either side of half-time enough to see off their hosts even after being reduced in numbers late on.
